Synthwave Sports Car
While I was playing with Midjourney’s style I got an image of 80’s sports car. I thought it would look cool with synthwave aesthetics and used an image prompt to change the style of the image.
Midjourney did a good job in applying the style, but the results were not consistent. There were good looking images but many weird ones with a giant dude’s head coming out of the cars hood.
It took some effort to get a satisfying result. The first versions had vertical streaks in the background. While it was a cool effect it did not fit the image well and I used the vary region functionality to clean up the background and add some more buildings.
To make the final images, I applied post processing in DxO Photolab. The original plan was to make a colour image, bit it looks good in monochrome and I made two versions.
