First Post of Blaugust
It is again the time for the Blaugust Festival of Blogging! This year Belghast proposed to use the First Post of Blaugust to describe ourselves and our blogs.
I am Jussi and this is my blog Avaruussuo. A story about the the name of the blog is available from last Blaugust. I am originally from Finland and have been living in Germany with my family for the past decade. I do software development for living. I first learned programming with GW-Basic and QBasic as kid and later learned C++. After studying computer science at university, I was able to turn the hobby into a career. My current hobbies include games (XBox, PC, Switch and board games), visual arts (photography, digital art, alcohol markers and pencils), astronomy, music (piano and electronic music production), and reading (sci-fi and fantasy).
I started to this blog in 2010 to share photos, but soon included gaming content mostly screenshots. In the recent years I have posted astrophotography and digital art. The latest inclusion to the list of topics is electronic music. Finally there is software developed by me.
